LPA Treasure Quest Team help raise over £8k for The Princess Trust

LPA joined 12 other teams for this year’s Princess Trust Treasure Quest, fielding a decidedly vintage team.

A WWII infantryman, RAF Officer and a Paratrooper, plus ATS, WREN and WAAF crew, all squeezed into a VW Caravelle (ably supported by the Level Peaks Morris Minor van) and set out across the countryside of three local counties, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire in search for clues.

They joined a dozen fancy dressed teams in a host of colourful vintage vehicles, sports cars and motorbikes. The participants set off from Shelsley Walsh in Worcestershire, earning points along the way by answering riddles, finishing at the Baskerville Hall Hotel near Hay-on-Wye for the after party.

This year’s Treasure Quest raised over £8,000 for The Little Princess Trust, with more money expected to be collected before the end of the year. Monies raised will help the charity to continue its work funding research into childhood cancers and giving real hair wigs to young people.

The event was once again run by Colliers’ Director Martyn Edwards, who is a stage IV cancer survivor. Now in its third year, the Treasure Quest has become a staple in the real estate social calendar, and over the years, participants have raised £20,000 for the Little Princess Trust.

Leanne Harley LPA Operations Manager:

‘LPA are delighted to support The Princess Trust.  The 2019 Treasure Quest provided the perfect opportunity to raise more money, meet with other like-minded local businesses and have a fantastic day out. We look forward to supporting them again in the very near future.’
