Description

The Commando Modular Assault System is a new, configurable load-carriage system designed from the ground-up. It can be set up in multiple configurations to suit user requirements and roles Based around the C2R Fast CBAV, the system is complimented with a chest rig adaptor kit and assault pack.

The core system consists of:

1. PLATE CARRIER
2. CHEST RIG ADAPTER
3. ALTERNATIVE CUMMERBUNDS
4. ASSAULT BACKPACK
5. MODULAR ARMOUR PACK

Utilising these components, the system can be easily configured by the user to optimise for the environment and levels of ballistic protection required. The CMAS achieves this with minimal component parts for reduced complexity and true versatility in the field.

The system also incorporates the following features:

• Field repairability (All load-bearing buckles can be replaced in the field)

• Interchangeable cummerbunds (can be set for Velcro or quick-release buckle)

• Integrated hydration system

• Shoulder release mechanism

PLATE CARRIER CONFIG:

Affords the user ballistic protection front and rear. The shoulder pads and magazine rack can be removed to provide a lower profile for operations such as: discreet or low-vis, personal protection.
