Description

The GPS ALLIGATOR is a geo-referencing programme waterproof to 20 m (IP69-20), based on the GARMIN 78S. Hardened all over and specifically developed for use under water and at sea, it nevertheless still has all its initial land functions.

The ALLIGATOR meets the needs of operations units by pushing the boundaries of the traditional GPS, which currently does not allow detection of satellite signals under water.

It can be used when submerged, based on the tractor (SMT) and/or as an accessory to submarine propellers (SMP), but also attached direct to a diver or palmer, the Alligator can still be used for all surface and land operations and thus allows the whole mission to be managed from a single platform.
