Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Level Peaks Associates Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

Baseline Emissions

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Baseline Year: 2023
Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.
We have no prior CO2 emissions reporting in place. We have generated our emissions reporting based on the 12 months of activities from January 2023 to December 2023. As LPA are still refining reporting methodology emissions may contain some abnormalities which may not become fully apparent until our carbon reporting processes have been fully realised.

Emissions reduction targets

To continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next three years to 1,538 tCO2e by 2028. This is a reduction of 15%.

LPA is committed to achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050.

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2023 baseline.

  • LPA has a Cycle to Work Scheme, offsetting the costs of purchasing a bicycle for its employee’s and encouraging more employees to cycle to and from the office where possible.
  • LPA has hybrid working with flexible working hours including working from home. Therefore, saving on carbon emissions with commuting to work.
  • LPA continues to maintain ISO14001:2015 following our recertification audit in December 2024.
  • LPA offers Through Life Management on its tenders and contracts, allowing customers to return used goods back to us to have its materials repurposed, recycled, or properly disposed of, helping to mitigate the effects of improper disposal of the equipment and its materials.
  • LPA’s vehicle fleet continues to be updated to a mixture of hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • Offsetting our carbon emissions in business travel through various schemes available from airlines.
  • Managing our upstream and downstream transportation and distribution to minimise the number of journeys necessary and reduce vehicle emissions.
  • Using renewable energy at our headquarters.
